Patricia says, I have always had a passion for ART. I believe life is passionate and I try to catapult that feeling into my artwork. My mission is to create Modern ART paintings that will catch your attention and speak to you. When you look at my paintings you will sense a little bit of what I was experiencing when I painted the picture. I pray about the picture the whole time that I am painting it, so I will always be going in the right direction with it. By the time that I am finished a painting I feel so happy with it!
This is what inspires me and the Journey that I took to get where I am now. My Dad and sister Linda, both artists, they cultivated my interest in art and painting by providing me with art supplies and a way to express my creative expression at an early age. Then while I was away at college, this led to a modeling career. Travelling to N.Y. City, Chicago, Philadelphia , Bahamas and to Europe while in my 20’s and 30’s. I worked in TV, Radio and the Baltimore Sun (Aegis Branch) in the 80’s and 90’s. After which I worked and studied at the University of Delaware for Psychology. I retired from the University of Delaware in 2002. So 17 years ago I returned to my first love: ART.
My Vision now for my artwork is to be able to freely express myself while working in my home art studio. My 3 little granddaughters inspire me to paint them into different settings onto my paintings, which I feel is unique.
Having over 30 years of experience as a painter, I have exhibited my artwork in numerous shows, as well as solo shows. On July 17, 2016, my Sun painting was chosen to air on the CBS Sunday Morning Show as a promo for the new Meryl Streep movie, “Florence”. I submitted my painting to CBS and they chose it for the show. Now I am a regular contributor of Sun ART for the Sunday Morning Show. Having 7 Sun art pieces submitted and hanging in the CBS Studios in NYC.
